Anti - Bullying

Bullying it seems is on the increase. The best way to prevent it is to let children know they are loved and respected for who they are. There don't need to impress anyone. The Duchess of Cambridge brought about speculation that she had been bullied at school, when she chose Beat Bullying as one of her charities to donate to instead of giving
a wedding present.
In America Difference Makers International has come up with a way to prevent bullying. Helice "sparky" Bridges the founder and CEO says
"There are no bullies - only people who need to be loved."
They are working together with the Mental Health Systems, Inc and doing training programme's to put an end to bullying. "Who I am makes a difference" is a Blue Ribbon message. You can get one of these either by publicly speaking out and saying sorry for bullying
or harming someone or by sharing your dreams and asking for support.
Finally tell someone how they make a difference and honour them.
One man was honoured for helping a student and being described by them as a creative genius. He was given a blue ribbon to pass onto someone else. He decided to give it to his son. Although he got mad at him now and again over certain things like not working hard enough or tidying his room he loved his son. Like all hard working parents he didn't spend enough time with his son. But to him his wife and son were what really mattered most. After he told his 14 year - old son this the son told him how he had felt unloved. So much so he was going to commit suicide but when he heard
what his father said it made him change his mind. His fathers loving words stopped him from committing suicide. If you would like to know more about this organisation which sounds extremely good and well thought - out then visit
